FROSTBURG, MD -- The Bowie State men's basketball team (6-7) topped the Frostburg State Bobcats 80-70 on the road Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs were fueled by 20 points from Warren Mouganda in his first game of the 2023-24 season. Bowie State also got a 49-point performance from its bench in the win which marked the second straight win for BSU consecutively.

In addition to Mouganda's 20-point performance, two other players scored in double figures including Amare Wimbush who tacked on 14 points, six rebounds and two steals from the bench and Kyree Freeman-Davis who helped out with 11 points and seven steals off the bench.

BSU's defense was effective at taking away the basketball in Saturday's game, forcing 20 Frostburg State turnovers while committing 13. Those takeaways turned into 16 points on the other end of the floor. Freeman-Davis' seven steals led the way individually for the Bulldogs.
