CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- Bowie State freshman Kevon Corley has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Rookie of the Week after his performance against Cheyney last week.

The rookie added nine points on 4-of-5 shooting to go along with two blocks and one assist in 14 minutes off the bench for the Bulldogs as Bowie State cruised to a 104-62 win at home against the Wolves last Wednesday.

Corley is the first Bulldog to earn the honor this season.
