BOWIE, Md. - Bowie State travels to Dover, Del. Wednesday, Mar. 15 to face the Hornets of Delaware State in a softball doubleheader at DSU Softball Field. Game times are set for 12 noon and 2 p.m.

BOWIE STATE
The Bulldogs are riding a three-game win streak coming into Wednesday's action. Bowie State swept Bloomsburg, 5-4 and 5-3 at home last week - that was the first time the Bulldogs had defeated Bloomsburg in program history. Prior to the sweep, BSU had lost eight straight to the Huskies. The Bulldogs are 8-6 overall but stand 0-3 on the road this season.

DELAWARE STATE
The Hornets are 2-10 overall, having lost 10-straight entering Wednesday's twinbill. DSU fell twice to Saint Peters on Feb. 28 by the scores of 2-8 and 2-5 at home. The losses stretched the Hornets record to 0-6 at home this season.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Bowie State will host three straight home doubleheaders beginning Friday, Mar. 17 against Bluefield State at 2 p.m., followed by Chestnut Hill on Saturday, Mar. 18 at 1 p.m. and Goldey-Beacom (Mar. 19) at 12 noon at the BSU Softball Field.
