THE SERIES
Bowie State is 1-0 all-time against Bluefield State. BSU defeated Big Blue 18-15 in 2018 at the neutral site.Â
BOWIE STATE
The Bulldogs (8-8) suffered a pair of setbacks to Delaware State Wednesday. In game one, BSU held a 4-2 lead over the Hornest before allowing four runs in the bottom fifth, succumbing in a 6-4 decision while in game two the Bulldogs accounted for just one run scored in the top fifth compared to DSU who tacked on a run in the first, third, fourth and three in the fifth to come away with the 6-1 win.
BSU went 3-for-8 (.375) with runners in scoring position led by sophomore
Brittany Brewer who went 1-of-2 with a double in game one while sophomore
Sydney Edmond was the lone bright spot for the Bulldogs in game two, finishing 1-of-3 with an RBI.
BLUEFIELD STATE
The Big Blue stands 3-14 overall, having lost its last six games featuring most recent losses (7-1, 15-0) to Concord on Mar. 10 on the road. Bluefield State is 1-7 on the road this season.

Bowie State will host a doubleheader against Chestnut Hill Saturday, Mar. 18 at 1 p.m., followed by twinbill with Goldey-Beacom on Sunday, Mar. 19 at 12 noon.
