Bowie State's Goito Lends Hand with Brothers Restoring Urban Hope, Inc.

BOWIE, MD -- Bowie State's Amandji Goito recently volunteered with HURD the Brand and Bruh Mentoring (Brothers Restoring Urban Hope, Inc.) Sports and Mentoring Summer Camp July 10-13 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The Brothers Restoring Urban Hope, Inc. sports and mentoring camp featured the second annual next level hurdles camp. The mission of the HURD the Brand is to provide student-athletes with education, exposure and empowering opportunities.

"It was inspiring to see Coach Kelly go above and beyond to provide a premier experience for the student-athletes that attended the "Next Level Hurdle Camp", said Goito. "It was a great opportunity to work alongside some of the best sprint and hurdle coaches in the nation and to help guide motivated student-athletes that want to achieve their goals. True collaboration can be the source of many innovative ideas that can change our community for the better."

Goito who will enter his third season as apart of the Bulldog men's and women's cross country and track and field programs for 2023-24 was one of the guest speakers at the camp.
