FROSTBURG, MD --The Bowie State volleyball team fell to the Pittsburgh-Johnstown Mountain Cats in three sets (15-25, 13-25, 6-25) Friday at Bobcat Arena.
The non-conference loss moved Bowie State to 0-1 on the season.
Marissa Robinson finished with two kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .333. got 5 digs from Bracey Gross to lead them defensively.

» Mekenna Scott had a team-high two aces in the loss.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs fell behind early, dropping a tough first set 25-15. BSU trailed by as many as 10 points as Pittsburgh-Johnstown grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that was tied up three times before the Mountain Cats took control.
SET 2 | BSU dropped set two 25-13, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. The Bulldogs fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Bowie State couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. BSUÂ lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-6.
