BUCKHANNON, WV --The Bowie State volleyball team fell to the Lock Haven Bald Eagles 3-0 (18-25, 14-25, 20-25) Friday at Rockefeller Center.
The non-conference loss moved Bowie State to 1-8 on the season.
Madyson Brinson finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .353. Madison Adderley-Julien also pitched in with eight in the contest while BSU got seven digs from Mekenna Scott to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs found themselves in an early deficit, dropping a tough first set 25-18. Bowie State trailed by as many as seven points as Lock Haven (PA) grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that was tied up three times before the Bald Eagles took control.
SET 2 | A 25-14 second-set loss put Bowie State in a 2-0 hole in the match. The Bulldogs fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Bowie State was not able to win the third set and was swept by Lock Haven (PA). The Bulldogs came up short by the score of 25-20. Bowie State trailed by as many as seven points as Lock Haven (PA) grabbed the advantage for good at 9-8 in a set that was tied up four times before the Bald Eagles took over the lead.
