BUCKHANNON, WV --The Bowie State volleyball team lost to the Glenville State Pioneers in straight sets (17-25, 23-25, 18-25) Saturday at Rockefeller Center to conclude the Bobcats Tournament. 

The non-conference loss moved Bowie State to 1-10 on the season.

Madyson Brinson finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs attack while Tristynn Kerr recorded 11 digs to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-17. Bowie State trailed by as many as eight points as Glenville State never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up just once before the Pioneers took control.

SET 2 | Bowie State then lost set two 25-23 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Glenville State grabbed the advantage for good at 12-11 in a set that was knotted up four times before the Pioneers took over the lead.

SET 3 | Bowie State could not win the third set and was swept by Glenville State. The Bulldogs dropped a tough set 25-18. Bowie State trailed by as many as eight points as Glenville State grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that was tied up three times before the Pioneers took over the lead.
