BALTIMORE, MD. --The Bowie State volleyball team could not beat the opposing Lady Bears offense Tuesday on the road losing to Morgan State in three sets (23-25, 26-28, 15-25) in non-conference action. The loss moved Bowie State to 1-11 on the season.
Madison Adderley-Julien finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .438. Rayah Burge added 10 digs to lead BSU defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs couldn't hang on in a back-and-forth first set, losing 25-23 in a game that featured five lead changes and was tied 13 times. Neither team led by more than four points in the match.
SET 2 | BSU then lost the second set 28-26 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Bulldogs fell in a close second set, losing in a stanza that was tied five times and had three lead changes.
SET 3 | Bowie State was not able to win set three and was swept by Morgan State. The Bulldogs dropped a tough set 25-15. Bowie State trailed by as many as 11 points as Morgan State grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up two times before the Lady Bears took over the lead.
