CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- BSU men's basketball ownership of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Rookie of the Week award continued on Tuesday when
Kevon Corley earned the accolade for the fourth time this season announced by the league office.
Corley scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting (40-percent) from the field and 1-of-3 from the charity stripe to go along with four rebounds and a block against Lincoln (PA) last weekend.Â
The Glenarden, Md., native has started the last two games for Bowie State and has scored in double digits in his last three outings including a 16-point performance at Shaw back on Jan. 13.Â
Overall for the year, Corley is averaging 4.9 points per game, shooting 50-percent (27-53) from the field and 50-percent (14-28) from the 3-point line.
