The Short Story: The
Bowie State women's cross country team placed seventh overall in the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Cross Country Championship Thursday afternoon at Green Hill Park. The Bulldogs finished with 176 points for the seventh place finish while Fayetteville State repeated as conference champions for the fifth consecutive season with 28 points, followed by Winston-Salem State (96 points), Lincoln (PA) (113 points) and Claflin (130 points) for spots 2-4, respectively.
The Finish Line
- Naomi English placed 21st individually, becoming the first Bulldog to cross the finish line at 21:35.9
- Makayla Hill posted a time of 22:26.0 for 29th overall while Tamera-Lee Rodriques placed 32nd at 22:46.0
- Mylah Faulk and Nasya Fields would round out the top-50 finishes as Faulk ran a time of 24:04.1 for 45th and Fields placed 49th at 24:33.0
