The Bulldogs (11-11, 5-7 CIAA) hope to break a five-game losing skid after falling to Elizabeth City State last weekend by a score of 65-53. The Bulldogs had two scoring leaders with Anii Harris dropping 21 points, two steals and Mia Smith contributing nine points with two steals. BSU also grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, scored eight second chance points, and defensively held the ECSU shooters to 34.9 percent from the field. Bowie States is currently sixth in the Northern Division.

The Lady Panthers (16-8, 9-5 CIAA) fell to Bluefield State 67-64 this past weekend. Ny Langley led with 12 points. Camary Harris added 10 points and Bruni Martinez had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Virginia Union currently sits second in the Northern Division. The team is also fourth in the conference for team field goal percentages (0.403) and fifth in team rebounding 39.1.
