BOWIE, MD --- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) released the 2024 CIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament Saturday night. The single-elimination tournament will be held in CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD on February 26 - March 2nd.

Championship games will tip-off at 7 p.m. for the women followed by the men at 9 p.m. on Monday, February 26th. Each bracket is seeded based on Division record. If division records are tied, the first tiebreaker is head-to-head results followed by point differential. 

Bowie State women's basketball finished 2-8 in the Northern Division which earned a sixth seed (North) in the tournament. The Bulldogs will face the No. 7 seed from the South in Winston-Salem State (8-20, 2-16 CIAA, 2-10 South) on Monday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in CFG Bank Arena. The winner will face the No. 3 seed (South) Johnson C. Smith on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 4:30 p.m.



The Bulldog men's basketball team (11-16, 6-11 CIAA) finished 5-5 in the Northern Division this season, earning the No. 5 seed from the North and will take on the No. 5 seed of the South Livingstone (12-14, 8-9 CIAA, 5-6 South) on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 6:40 p.m. The winner of the opening round will face the No. 1 seed Fayetteville State (South) on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6:40 p.m. from CFG Bank Arena.



All 24 games will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+ (https://plus.espn.com/) with the championship games also being shown on ESPNU.
