BOWIE, MD -- Bowie State head softball coach Ed Powell has announced his prospect camp will take place on Saturday, September 21 at the BSU Softball Field.

The camp is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the campus of Bowie State University with the back-to-back Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Champions in the Bulldogs. Softball players in grades 8th through 12th will be able to develop and showcase their skills during each camp. Coach Powell, his coaching staff and current Bowie State student-athletes will instruct all participants on the skills necessary to play softball at the Division II level. 

With defensive, offensive, pitching and catching portions, participants will have the opportunity to develop skills in all areas of their game. The fee to participate is $125 for the camp. 

All attendees are asked to bring all necessary softball equipment as well as their own lunch and snacks.
