BOWIE, MD – Bowie State University redshirt sophomore
Micah Robinson has been named the BOXTOROW National Player of the Week, the DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Player of the Week, and the CIAA Offensive Back of the Week, the league announced Monday evening.
Robinson earned the honors following his standout performance on Saturday, Oct. 18, against conference rival Bluefield State. The Baltimore, Md. native delivered a dominant showing, carrying the ball 31 times for 193 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 6.2 yards per carry to lead the Bulldogs to victory.
The performance further solidified Robinson's status among the CIAA's top offensive players, as he currently ranks second in the conference in rushing yards and third in all-purpose yards (613) this season.
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, Oct. 25, traveling to Richmond, Va., to face CIAA frontrunner Virginia Union. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and will stream live on the CIAA Sports Network.
