BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State University Athletic Department will give back to the local community during its home basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 13, when the Bulldogs host Winston-Salem State inside A.C. Jordan Arena.

As part of the community initiative, fans, alumni, and guests may purchase a discounted $10 game ticket at the ticket booth on game day by donating one non-perishable or canned food item.

Fans should be aware that one donated item is required per discounted ticket. For example, a family of four must donate four items to receive four tickets at the $10 rate.

All collected items will support local food assistance efforts during the holiday season.
