CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bowie State men's basketball standout Jaiden McGhee has been named the Week Four Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

McGhee put together a dominant offensive stretch over the Bulldogs' last two games, averaging 27.5 points while shooting 64.5 percent from the field. The Townsend, Del., native erupted for 29 points against Shippensburg before adding 26 points at Howard. Across the two contests, he totaled four three-pointers, 11 made free throws, and averaged 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals, leading Bowie State in scoring in both outings.

Bowie State returns to action Monday, Dec. 8, when the Bulldogs travel to Pennsylvania to face California (PA) in PSAC play. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. inside Hamer Hall.
