Senior Sydney Edmond also contributed, recording a hit in three at-bats and driving in two runs.

BSU struck early, scoring twice in the first inning before breaking the game open with a five-run second inning, highlighted by Edmond's RBI groundout.

The Blue Bears managed to score in the fourth, cutting the deficit to 8-1, but the Bulldogs responded in the fifth with four more runs, including a two-run homer from Hill. The score remained 12-1 as Bowie State cruised to victory.
