Destiny Ryles has been selected to participate in the 2025 HBCU All-Star Game on Sunday, April 6, in San Antonio, Texas, during NCAA Final Four weekend. Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. (CST) at Freeman Coliseum.
Ryles was a standout for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 19.1 points per game. The Baltimore, Md., native also contributed 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 3.6 steals per contest. She showcased her scoring versatility, shooting 36.8% from the field and making 35 three-pointers. A relentless competitor, Ryles played in all 29 games, starting 28, and averaged 30.2 minutes per game. She was also a reliable free-throw shooter, converting 73% of her team-high 274 attempts.
In conference play, Ryles averaged 18.6 points per game while improving her three-point shooting to 33.3%. She recorded 55 steals in 16 CIAA games, demonstrating her impact on both ends of the floor. Her ability to take over games was evident in crucial matchups, including a standout performance in the CIAA Tournament, where she played a key role in the Bulldogs' deep postseason run.
Three CIAA schools will be represented in this year's HBCU All-Star Game, highlighting the depth of talent across the conference.

Founded to spotlight outstanding student-athletes from these institutions, the event showcases top talent while promoting educational excellence, sportsmanship, and community empowerment.
The Women's HBCU All-Star Game will feature 24 of the nation's top female basketball players from HBCUs, selected based on their season performance through evaluations conducted by the HBCU All-Stars national scouting staff and selection committee.
In addition to the game, the event will include a pro-day combine using NBA-standard evaluation tools, offering players exposure to professional scouts. The week-long festivities will also feature a college and scholarship fair and social justice panels, providing valuable opportunities for student-athletes.
