CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the third time this season, Bowie State's redshirt senior Samuel Graham has been selected as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Back of the Week, the conference announced Monday evening.

Graham delivered another standout performance in the Bulldogs' week four matchup against Winston-Salem State, tallying a team-high 10 tackles, including six solo stops. The Baltimore, Md. native, also recorded a sack for a five-yard loss, forced a fumble, and added a pass breakup.

Through four games, Graham is leading the CIAA in tackles, averaging 9.3 per game with a total of 37 stops. He also ranks first in the league in forced fumbles with three on the season, proving himself as one of the most disruptive defenders in the conference.

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back this weekend when they host Fayetteville State in a key conference matchup on Saturday, Oct 4, inside Bulldog Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 pm.
