Series History vs. Morgan State

Scouting Bowie State
The Bulldogs continue to be powered offensively by Taylor Dawkins, who is hitting .448 with six home runs and 23 RBIs, establishing herself as one of the most dangerous bats in the lineup. Mikayla Amos complements that production with a .323 average, 19 RBIs and a team-high 18 walks, providing consistency and plate discipline.

Audrey Newell anchors the middle of the order, batting .324 with 21 RBIs, while Coreena Dunham and Presleigh Braxton help set the tone at the top. Dunham is hitting .294 with 14 RBIs and 14 stolen bases, and Braxton is batting .300 with a team-high 32 runs scored, giving BSU speed and constant pressure on the basepaths.

In the circle, Sydney Seals leads the pitching staff with a 10–5 record and 101 strikeouts in 91 innings, serving as the Bulldogs' top arm. Aaliyah Amos has added five wins and 73 strikeouts across 87 innings, giving Bowie State a dependable one-two punch, while Makayla Drakeford provides depth in the rotation and relief.

Last Time Out for the Bulldogs
Bowie State swept a CIAA doubleheader against Lincoln (PA), earning 8–1 and 9–3 victories on Saturday, Apr. 18 at the BSU Softball Complex.

In game one, the Bulldogs broke through with a five-run fourth inning after three scoreless frames. Dawkins sparked the offense with a solo home run, while Dunham delivered a three-run triple to highlight the rally. BSU added insurance late, and Seals tossed a complete game, allowing just one unearned run while striking out seven.

In game two, the Bulldogs continued their offensive momentum with an 11-hit performance. After falling behind early, Bowie State responded with three runs in the third inning, highlighted by an RBI single from Dunham and a sacrifice fly from Dawkins. Braxton added a two-run double in the fourth, and Ja'chelle Mosley delivered a two-run double in the fifth to extend the lead. Amos went the distance in the circle, striking out nine and allowing just one earned run to secure the sweep.

Scouting Morgan State

• Morgan State enters the matchup with a 12–26 overall record and a 9–12 mark in MEAC play, currently sitting fifth in the conference standings.
• Cassie White leads the Lady Bears offensively, batting .457 with a team-high .506 on-base percentage, making her a consistent presence at the top of the lineup.
