FINAL STATS

(SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.)  Playing on a neutral site, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania hosted Bowie State University in non-conference women's tennis action.  The end result was a 9-0 Bowie State Lady Bulldogs shutout over Cheyney's Lady Wolves.

Bowie State's Kyara Lombre (Mitchellville, MD, C.H. Flowers) (#1), Danielle Fields (Suitland, MD, Suitland) (#2), Chelyce Fields (Suitland, MD, Suitland) (#3), Jessica Bond (Silver Spring, MD, John F. Kennedy / Emerson Preparatory School) (#4) and Amanda Hamilton (Willingboro, N.J., Willingboro) (#6) won their respective singles matches with 8-0 shutouts.  Lydia Mahon (Hyattsville, MD) won her #5 singles match by an 8-1 count.

Danielle Fields and Bond won the #1 doubles 8-2 and the tandem of Lombre and Chelyce Fields took their #2 doubles match 8-1.  Jasmine McNair (Germantown, MD, Seneca Valley) and Mahon blanked their #3 doubles opponent 8-0 to complete Bowie State's dominance over Cheyney.
