GAME 2 BOX SCORE

(ST. PETERSBURG, FLA.)  The Lady Bulldogs opened the 2011 softball season on the road, earning a split with Eckerd College.  Eckerd took game one 12-5 but Bowie State held on in game two to capture a 7-5 victory.  Justine Smith (Silver Spring, MD, James Hurbert Blake)led Bowie State wth four hits in seven plate appearances and Renelle Traylor (Hayward, CA, San Lorenzo) along with Shanae Smoot (Bel Alton, Md., LaPlata) added three hits each.
