(BOWIE, Md.)  Bowie State University women's tennis closed out the regular season with a 5-4 decision over the Lady Vikings of Elizabeth City State University.

The Lady Bulldogs were victorious at No. 2 (6-2, 7-5, 10-7), No. 4 (8-6, 6-1, 12-10), No. 5 (3-6, 6-4, 10-7) and No. 6 (6-0, 6-1) Singles and won No.3 doubles (8-4).

With the win, Bowie State and Elizabeth City State are tied for the final CIAA Spring Championships seed position.  The tie-breaker will be determined via a coin toss on Tuesday (April 17th).  The Spring Championships begin Thursday (April 19th) in Petersburg on the Virginia State University Tennis Courts.
