INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Bowie State University's football team remains 4th in the NCAA Super Region 2 poll released on Monday, October 5th. The top eight teams in each of the four Super Regions of the NCAA are invited to the Division II Playoffs. The Bulldogs dominated visiting Elizabeth City State University last Saturday (11/3) in the Bulldogs' regular season and home finale to improve its season record to 8-2 overall (5-1 CIAA and 4-1 North).The win made Bowie State the conference's Northern Division Champion. After one week away from the Super Region 2 poll, conference foe Virginia Union returns a #9 and Fayetteville State is ranked 10th.
 
Bowie State will play take on Fayetteville State at 1 p.m. Saturday (November 10th in Salem (Va.) for the CIAA Football Championship. Following Saturday's CIAA championship game, the NCAA Division II Football Selection Show will air Sunday, November 11th at 5:00 PM ET in the Bowie State University Student Center Theater.
