WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Saturday, November 2, 2019, the Bowie State Volleyball team went to Paul Public Charter School in Washington, DC to discuss the importance of Academic Achievement to the members of the Mentorship program with Dr. Renee Neely.  The players had a chance to speak freely and openly about their experiences with navigating being a student-athlete, dealing with relationships while in school, managing academic expectations from family and friends and coping with mental health as a student-athlete.
