BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's bowling team will travel to Richmond, Va., for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Round-Up beginning Friday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 20 hosted by Virginia Union.

The Bulldogs are 18-1 overall, coming off a three-day tournament held in Salisbury, NC (1/18 – 1/20), where the Bulldogs snatched an 11-0 mark last time out. Senior Cayla Snowden (Baltimore, MD) and graduate senior Takara Wigfall (Forestville, MD) took the top averages for BSU in the tournament, posting a total of 1,407 and 1,064 pinfalls. Wigfall captured the best day overall for the Bulldogs by averaging 177.33 in six games of action, including 213 in the first game of play.
At the CIAA Round-Up, the Bulldogs will face institutions from the Southern Division that include Shaw, Fayetteville State, Livingstone and Johnson C. Smith. The Round-Up will take place in Richmond, Va., at the Bowl America Southwest bowling alley located at 11532 Hull Street Rd, Midlothian, VA 23112.
