BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State University softball squad's scheduled non-conference doubleheader against Slippery Rock slated for Saturday (March 4) has been canceled and will not take place.

The regional twin bill was called off due to impending wet field conditions and pending weather in the Bowie area.

With the schedule change, the Bulldogs' next action is now slated for Sunday (March 5) when BSU is scheduled to host Mansfield for a non-conference doubleheader at the BSU Softball Field starting at 12 p.m. (ET) for game one with game two set for approximately 2 p.m. (ET).
