BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State women's tennis team will continue Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play with a 11 a.m. match vs. Virginia State on Saturday, Mar. 11 at the VSU Tennis Courts.
The Bulldogs are 1-0 this season, with the Trojans (0-0). Bowie State looks to extend its win streak to two-straight after blanking Elizabeth City State, 4-0 last time out.

Afruica Gentle has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Food Lion Player of the Week in honors announced Tuesday (March 7) by the league office. Gentle, the reigning CIAA Player of the Year cruised to sweeps in both the No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles last week, lifting Bowie State to a 4-0 victory over Elizabeth City State in conference action last weekend.
