Bulldogs Back on Track with Road Win at Virginia Union

Box Score BOWIE, Md. - Bowie State women's tennis picked up a 4-1 road victory in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Northern Division action Saturday afternoon at Virginia Union. The win put the Bulldogs back in the win column with a 5-7 overall record and 4-5 mark in the CIAA.

The Bulldogs won the doubles point after picking up 6-0 wins at the No. 1 and 2 slots. In singles competition, sophomore Afruica Gentle defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 1 position. Junior Abner Dickson earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the No. 2 position and senior Aria Mason grabbed a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the No. 3 position.
