Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. - It was an all-around team effort for the Bowie State women's tennis team as the Bulldogs claimed a 9-0 victory at Trinity (DC) Monday afternoon.
The Bulldogs improve to 6-7 on the year and 2-2 against non-conference opponents.
BSU opened play by sweeping all three doubles courts.
Afruica Gentle and
Kayla Lowery won 8-0 at No. 1,
Abner Dickson and
Aria Mason also won 8-0 at No. 2 while
Denaij Rose and
Jatiya Stewart recorded a 8-2 win at No. 3.Â
Bowie State wrapped up the match by winning all six singles courts, highlighted by 6-0, 6-0 victories from Gentle, Dickson, Lowery and Mason. Rose claimed her victory in a 6-1, 6-0 decision and Stewart earned her win by scores of 6-0, 6-1.
