WASHINGTON, D.C. - Bowie State women's track and field took home six first place finishes at the seventh annual Gallaudet Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Thomas O. Berg Track hosted by Gallaudet.

SPRINTS
- Agi Mboob won the 100m dash with a finishing time of 12.63 and the 200m dash at 26.09.Â
- Catherine Enwereji claimed the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.32.
HURDLES
- Zahra Graham finished second in the 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line at 1:07.66.
- Destiny Lewis placed third in the 400m hurdles (1:08.98).
JUMPS
- Graham finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.45m.
- In the long jump, Shakila Campbell earned third place with a mark of 4.91m.
THROWS
- Yassine Kamara won both the shot put (11.99m) and the discus (41.85m).Â
- Jamesia Poindexter finished fourth in the shot put (10.85m) while Jazmyn McGirt placed seventh (10.34m) in the event.Â
- Additionally, McGirt also finished seventh in the discus (28.75m) while Poindexter placed eighth at 26.83m.
- Poindexter won the hammer throw with a throw of 37.03m.
- In the javelin, McGirt placed sixth with a throw of 22.93m. Both Poindexter (18.45m) and Mikel Lewis (16.70m)both made top-10 in the event at ninth and 10th, respectively.
