CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Bowie State redshirt junior Samuel Graham of the Bulldog football team was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Back of the Week on Monday. 

Graham earned the award after recording nine tackles, 1.5 TFL, and a breakup against Virginia State to lead the Bulldogs defense. The accolade is Graham's first of the season and just the second time in 2024 that Bowie State has garnered a weekly honor.
