About the Bulldogs
Bowie State (4-9, 4-7 CIAA) snapped a three-game losing skid on Saturday, with a 5-2 win over Virginia Union for senior day. The Bulldogs won the doubles point to take the 1-0 lead, claiming a 6-0 win at No. 1 and 6-2 at No. 2. BSU then went on to claim four singles including singles 1-4 in route to the win. Amongst the CIAA, BSU holds a 3-7 record and stand 1-2 at home for 2024.
About Big Blue
Bluefield State is 10-6 overall and 10-1 in the CIAA entering Monday's tilt. Big Blue had a match at West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday, falling 7-0. That setback snapped a three game win-streak for B-State. Bluefield State is 5-2 on the road this season, B-State is the top team in the CIAA Northern Division.
