CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bowie State women's volleyball junior Mekenna Scott has been named CIAA Setter of the Week after her performances against Bluefield State and Lincoln (PA).

The Gaithersburg, Md., native totaled 24 assists (6.00 per set) and nine digs across the two matches, including a match-high 19 assists in BSU's three-set contest at Bluefield State. She also averaged 2.25 digs per set for the week.

Scott's honor comes in the same week she surpassed 1,000 career assists as a Bulldog.

The Bulldogs will now await their seeding and placement in the 2025 CIAA Volleyball Championship tournament, taking place November 20–23, hosted by Bowie State inside A.C. Jordan Arena.
