CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced the 2025 All-CIAA Preseason Women's Tennis Poll as voted on by the CIAA Women's Tennis Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association, and the predicted order of finish. BSU were picked to finish seventh overall as Kayla Lowery was the lone Bulldog named to the All-CIAA Preseason Team.
Virginia State and Shaw led the preseason team with three selections each, followed by Bluefield State and Winston-Salem State with two apiece.
Lowery posted a 6-7 overall record last season, including a strong 6-3 mark in conference play to earn the Preseason All-CIAA nod.
The Lady Bears of Shaw was picked to repeat as conference champions, followed by Big Blue of Bluefield State at No. 2, the Trojans of Virginia State at No. 3 and the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith at No. 4 and the Rams of Winston-Salem State at No. 5, to round out the top-5 rankings.
