BOWIE, MD --- The Bowie State women's tennis team will travel to Shepherdstown, W.V., to battle the Shepherd University Rams in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, Mar. 29. The match is set to start at 1 p.m. at the Shepherd Tennis Complex.

The Match Up
· This will be the third meeting between BSU and SU.
· Bowie State is 1-0 on the road versus the Rams.

About The Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are 2-4 overall and 0-4 in the CIAA entering Saturday's tilt. Bowie State is coming off a 6-1 victory over Trinity (DC) at home Thursday, where the Bulldogs secured five singles matches and swept doubles play.
Nakari Blunt holds a 3-1 record in singles, competing primarily in the No. 3 position, and is currently on a three-match winning streak. Kayla Lowery also boasts a 3-1 singles record, playing at No. 2.
In doubles action, Lowery and Torrienne Emery lead the Bulldogs with a 4-2 record at the No. 1 doubles position, while Blunt and Verneice Herndon have combined for a 3-1 mark at No. 2 doubles.
