BOWIE, MD. – The Bowie State University men's and women's track and field programs will hold open tryouts this fall for students interested in joining the Bulldogs roster for the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor seasons.

Tryouts are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. from the BSU Track and Field Complex.

Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for the Fall 2025 semester and present a copy of their class schedule at tryouts.

All participants must complete the following:

• BSU Tryout Packet
• Physical Form (must be dated within the past 12 months)
• Copy of sickle cell test results

All medical documents must be submitted to the athletic training staff by Friday, Sept. 12, at the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex. Late or incomplete documentation will result in ineligibility for the tryout.
