CIAA Top Performers
Bowie State features several of the CIAA's top-ranked athletes across sprints, hurdles, and field events. Dareon Faircloth leads the conference in the men's 60-meter dash (6.74) and ranks sixth in the 200 meters (21.89). Sidney Richardson sits seventh in the women's 60 meters (7.80).
Benick Akeh ranks sixth in the men's 400 meters (49.18) and eighth in the 200 meters (22.05), while Aaron Little, Jr. is fourth in the men's 60-meter hurdles (8.22).
The Bulldogs' field events continue to be a strength, led by Khory Reevey, who ranks third in the men's long jump (6.93m). Rebecca Bogy is third in the women's triple jump (11.51m), while Jaeden Warner ranks second in the men's shot put (15.70m). Jazmyne McGirt sits fifth in the women's shot put (12.25m), and Breanna Reid is second in the CIAA in the women's weight throw (14.41m). Tareik Jackson II is tied for sixth in the men's high jump (1.89m).
Last Time Out
At the Nike HBCU Showcase, BSU recorded multiple top-10 finishes, highlighted by a runner-up performance from Jaeden Warner in the shot put (15.60m). Dareon Faircloth posted top-six finishes in the 60 meters (4th, 6.83) and 200 meters (6th, 21.97), while Tareik Jackson II set an HBCU record in the high jump (1.91m). Rebecca Bogy finished sixth in the triple jump (11.51m), and the men's 4x400-meter relay placed fifth in 3:25.36.

The Bulldogs will rest before preparing for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15, through Monday, Feb. 16, at the Tryon International Center in Mill Spring, N.C.
