BOWIE, MD – Bowie State University announces the 2026 women's tennis schedule. The Bulldogs will play a full slate of Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and nonconference matches this spring.
The season opens on Saturday, March 7, as BSU hosts CIAA rival Elizabeth City State at 1 p.m., followed by a highlighted nonconference matchup against Shippensburg at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs continue their early home stretch with a key contest against Virginia State on Saturday, March 14, before welcoming Trinity (D.C.) on Tuesday, March 17.
Conference play intensifies during the CIAA Round-Up, scheduled for March 21–22 at a site to be determined. Bowie State will face CIAA competition during the two-day event before returning to divisional action with a road matchup at Virginia Union on March 24.
BSU hosts Bluefield State on Saturday, March 28, before finishing conference play with road matches at Elizabeth City State (Mar. 31), Virginia State (Apr. 11), and Bluefield State (Apr. 14) . The Bulldogs conclude the regular season at home against Virginia Union on April 21.
All home matches will be played at the Bowie State Athletics Tennis Courts on the campus of Bowie State University.
