NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field teams posted multiple top-10 finishes and set several HBCU and Division II marks at the HBCU Showcase, held inside The Armory and sponsored by Nike.
SPRINTERS
• Men's 60m Dash:
Dareon Faircloth placed fourth (6.83);
Jaieri Barber finished eighth (7.38).
• Women's 60m Dash:
Kelys Walker finished ninth (8.08).
• Men's 200m Dash: Faircloth added a sixth-place finish (21.97).
JUMPERS
• Men's High Jump:
Tareik Jackson II finished 10th with a height of 1.91m, setting a new HBCU 40 record and ranking No. 62 in Division II.
• Women's Triple Jump:
Rebecca Bogy placed sixth (11.51m), establishing a new HBCU No. 26 mark and a Division II No. 33 ranking.
THROWERS
• Men's Shot Put:
Jaeden Warner earned a runner-up finish with a mark of 15.60m.
• Men's Weight Throw:
Isam Banajah finished eighth (11.61m).
RELAYS
• Men's 4x400m Relay: The Bulldogs placed fifth with a time of 3:25.36, setting a new Division II No. 71 mark.
In the team standings, the Bowie State men finished eighth overall, while the women placed 14th in a competitive field at one of the premier HBCU indoor meets of the season.

The Bulldogs will return to action Friday, Jan. 23 through Saturday, Jan. 24, competing at the Liberty Invite hosted by Liberty University. Field events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
