BOWIE, MD — The Bowie State women's bowling team (31–40, 25–23 CIAA) has earned the No. 4 seed in this year's CIAA Women's Bowling Championship. The Bulldogs will open play against No. 5 seed Shaw on Friday, Mar. 20 at 9 a.m. at Bowlero Bowling in Mechanicsville, Va.

Bulldogs Last Timeout
BSU went 7–5 at the CIAA North/South Event III, hosted by Fayetteville State at B&B Bowling Lanes.
The Bulldogs opened with a 3–2 mark, earning wins over Elizabeth City State (689–642, 749–595) and Virginia Union (713–641). Bowie State finished 2–2 on day two with victories against Virginia Union (697–620) and Elizabeth City State (789–583).
Arianna Clayton led the way, posting a 193 on day one and a team-best 222 on day two.
In Baker play, the Bulldogs went 2–1, defeating Elizabeth City State (730–604) and Virginia State (805–687), while narrowly falling to Virginia Union (649–652).
