Men's Indoor Track and Field Bowie State Sports Information

BULLDOGS TRACK & FIELD RANKED 10th IN ATLANTIC REGION

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its first regional rankings on Tuesday (1/24), and the Bowie State University men's indoor track and field teams made the cut.  WEEK 1 RANKINGS

Some of the Bulldogs top finishers in last Saturday's (1/21) Terrapin Invitational include sophomores Jonathan Harper and Alonzo Williams.  Harper placed 3rd in the High Jump (2.04m), 7th in the Long Jump (6.77m) and 9th in the Triple Jump (13.30m).  Williams took 5th in the 60 Meter Hurdles and finished 12th in the 60 Meter Dash (7.13).  Because of their efforts, Harper and Williams are national qualifiers in the High Jump and 60 Meter Hurdles respectively.  Fellow sophomore Andrew Hairston is also a national qualifier in the 60 Meter Dash.

Head Coach Michelle Latimer and the Bulldogs are back in action on Friday (January 27th) and Saturday (January 28th) as the qualifiers compete in the Penn State National.
