PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - On Saturday (Dec. 7), the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Track & Field team hosted the Cappy Anderson Invitational featuring Bowie State, Howard, Delaware State, the University of the District of Columbia, Salisbury. The Bulldogs finished fifth with 38 total points.

Kayla Little came in third place in the 200 meter run with a time of 25.86. Little also placed third in the 60 meter run. Junior
Amaree' Yates placed sixth in 26.68, while fellow junior
Abigail Hunt (27.43) placed 11th. In the 400 meter run, Hunt finished fourth with a time of 1:01.40, while junior
Kaylia Brown placed eighth in 1:04.50.

Telicia Farmer placed ninth in the mile run with 6:09.78, while freshman
Mykayla Wall finished sixth in 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9:69. Wall also competed in Triple Jump and placed second at 10.14m.

Soljala Jones finished in fifth in High Jump with 1.52m. In Shot put, sophomore
Lorinda Bangura placed seventh with the score of 11.07m, while senior Jordan McDonald (10.13m) took 11th.
