PITTSBURG, Kansas – Bowie State University freshman
Davon Carroll has qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be held March 8-9 in Pittsburg, Kansas at the Robert W. Plaster Center. Pittsburg State University and the Crawford County Convention & Visitors Bureau will serve as co-hosts of the championships.
Carroll will compete in the men's 60-meter dash as well as the 200-meter dash. The men's 60-meter preliminary race is scheduled for Friday at 3:15 p.m. (Central Time) and he will take the track in the 200-meter dash at 5:35 p.m. (Central Time). Carroll will compete in the second heat of two in the 60 and fourth heat of four in the 200. The competitors with the top eight fastest preliminary times will advance to the finals on Saturday. The men's 60-meter dash finals will take place at 5:30 p.m. (Central) and the 200-meter finals are set for 6:55 p.m. (Central).
