LEXINGTON, Va. – Bowie State men's track and field team competed at the Virginia Military Institute Keydet Invitational on Saturday (1/18) morning.
Junior
Kenny Amaya placed 12th in shot put with the score of 14.38m while fellow junior Orlando Francis finished 32nd with 11.28m. In 400m, freshman
Lamar Teal managed 16th in 51:45 while senior
Jalen Sykes came in 41st with 54.16. Francis also competed in weight throw and was placed 19th with 13.26 score.
Freshman Frederick Eiland placed 22nd in the 800m with the time of 2:04.44. Senior
Frank Bailey placed 28th in the 200m in 23.11.
The Bulldogs managed 15th in the 4x400 Relay in 3:31.39 (Jalen, Lamar, Donte and Frederick) were the runners for BSU.
The Bulldogs will travel to Liberty University on Thursday (1/23) for its next competition.
