LEXINGTON, Va. – Bowie State women's track and field team competed at the Keydet Invitational hosted by Virginia Military Institute on Saturday (1/18) morning.

Junior Telicia Farmer competed in the one mile run and placed 11th with the time of 6:05.79. Freshman Angel Porter finished 19th in 1:02.08 while junior Abigail Hunt claimed 37th with 1:04.21 time.

Sophomore Kayla Little was impressive in the 60m. The second-year runner finished second in 7.70. Junior Soljala Jones placed 19th in Long Jump and recorded a score of 5.05m while senior Jordan McDonald managed 30th in shot put and scored 9.75m. Little also competed in the 200m and took 12th in 25.84.

Junior Amaree' Yates placed 16 in the 200m with 26.09 time. The Bulldogs 4x400 Relay team (Amaree', Kaylia, Abigail and Angel) were not ranked. Yates was also in contention in the 60m and placed 20th in 7.99. Freshman Mykayla Wall finished 24th in triple jump and scored 9.82m.

BSU will travel to Liberty University on Thursday (1/23) for its next competition.
