BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's and women's indoor track and field programs will return to action Friday, Dec. 10 when the Bulldogs travel to Staten Island, NY to compete in the Seahawk Shootout.
The event is slated to begin at 2 p.m. at the Ocean Breeze Park Track and Field Athletic Complex.
Bowie State had an impressive showing from both the men's and women's squad at the KMS Opener Sunday (Dec. 5). The Bulldogs captured 11 top-10 finishes on the women's side, including a second place finish for senior Kayla Little (Prince George's County, MD) in 200m dash with a time of 25:96.
Meanwhile on the men's side, junior Shane Massey (Lewes, DE) highlighted the Bulldogs performances with 800m race - a time of 2:01.57 for first place while the Bulldogs had posted eight events in top-10 finishes.
Following the Seahawk Shootout, the Bulldogs will begin the second half of the 2021-22 slate on Jan. 15 at JDL in Winston-Salem, N.C.
