BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field teams return for their third meet of the indoor season as the Bulldogs travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the Mondo College Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 15, inside the JDL Fast Track Complex.

Bowie State is scheduled to have 24 athletes compete on Saturday. The event will begin with the 3000 women's race walk at 9:15 am, followed by the men's pole vault at 10 a.m.
Last Time Out
BSU opened its 2021-22 indoor campaign on Dec. 5 at the KMS Opener in Virginia Beach, Va., followed by the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner in Staten Island, NY. Overall at the Seahawk Shootout, the Bulldogs had a pair top-10 finishes on the men's side featuring a fifth place finish from junior Shane Massey (Lewes, DE) in the 600m (1:25.5) while a foursome of BSU runners tabbed 10th overall in the 4x400 relay (3:31.88).
On the women's side, senior Kayla Little (Prince George's County, MD) continued her dominance after capturing first place in the 60m dash (7.90). Additionally, freshman Destiny Ehirim (Lanham, MD) tabbed eighth in both the 60m hurdles (9.71) and the long jump (4.99m).
