SALEM, Va. – Junior Movado Gray (Lanham, MD) earned a silver medal in the shot put to lead the Bowie State men's indoor track and field team to a strong finish at the Finn Pincus Invitational over the weekend.

Throws
- For the first time this season, Gray earned a silver medal in the shot put with a throw of 12.98m. The mark was his second-best this indoor season.
Sprints/Distance
- Eric Thomas-Talley (Richmond, VA) ran a time of 16:48.18 for fifth place in the 5000m for a personal best.
- The distance medley relay finished fourth as the quartet of junior Frederick Eiland, II (Columbia, MD), junior Marcquan Davis (Washington, DC), junior Shane Massey (Lewes, DE) and Thomas-Talley earned finished in 12:08.02.
- Massey earned a bronze in the 400m with a finishing time of 52.14, while in the 200m, he placed fifth (23.15) in the 200m run which would be a personal-best.
- Massey, freshman Jahmoy Bartley (Pasadena, MD), Davis and sophomore London Diggs (Portsmouth, VA) combined for a time of 3:33.58 in the 4x400m relay for a bronze medal.
- The Bulldogs B team made up of senior Zion Tyler (Silver Spring, MD), freshman Caleb Rose (Morningside, MD), junior Nicholas Kent (Ellicott City, MD) and freshman Brent Thompson, Jr. (Waldorf, MD) finished fifth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3.55.44.
Jumps/Hurdles
- Senior Joshua Carter (Bowie, MD) tied for eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.45m.
- Freshman Kareem Kelsick (Upper Marlboro, MD) finished eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.38.

The Bulldogs will compete in the Vince Brown Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va. on Sunday, Jan. 30.
